Ivy Tech Northeast takes home eight awards at regional marketing event

The Marketing and Communications office at Ivy Tech Community College Northeast received eight Medallion Awards, including two golds, at the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (or NCMPR) District 3 Conference in Green Bay, Wis., this evening.

The six-person staff won medallions in the following areas:

  • Communications success story, for INSPIRE Academy: Northeast Indiana’s Best Dancers – Sasha Mallory (gold medal)
  • Wild Card, for Finding Ivy Comic graphic novel produced by Ivy Tech Northeast students (gold medal)
  • Magazine, for Inside Ivy Tech, a quarterly college publication (silver medal)
  • Feature writing, for Going whole hog—literally (silver medal)
  • Novelty advertising, for Paper airplane with ticket direct mail marketing the aviation maintenance technology program (silver medal)
  • Special event promotion, for A Reason to Taste: Golden Gala (silver medal)
  • Successful recruitment or marketing program, for Industry professional communication project (silver medal)
  • Social media or online marketing campaign, for Meme marketing campaign (bronze medal)
