College hosts safe, indoor head start to trick or treating

Ivy Tech Community College is filling candy bags early with a Trick or Treat Trail on Monday, October 31 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at several Fort Wayne locations.

Students and the community can journey through the Coliseum campus and the Student Life Center and Harshman Hall at the North Campus where staff will hand out treats. To join the trail, stop by any location to get a Trick or Treat bag and map of the participating offices. Costumes are optional but not required.

Food and monetary donations are also being accepted for the U Can Crush Hunger Food Drive through Community Harvest. All donations support the on-campus community cupboard.

Before the event, everyone can join a free Halloween luncheon with food, a costume contest, games and more. That’s happening at the Student Life Center Commons from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 31

Coliseum Campus, 3800 North Anthony Blvd.

North Campus (Student Life Center & Harshman Hall), 3701 Dean Dr.
