As part of the Classical Cuisine class, Hospitality Administration students at Ivy Tech Community College’s Fort Wayne campus will create and serve French cuisine to the public. Students write the menu and cook the meals, which follow the principles and techniques of renowned French chef, Auguste Escoffier. There will be four dinners this semester.
To make reservations, which are required at least 24 hours before the dinner, visit IvyTech.edu/dinners. Dinners are $30 a person, and wine is $5 for a glass and $15 for a bottle.
The menu for Sept. 8 will include: seared salmon, filet mignon, herb roasted Statler chicken breast, chocolate mousse bites, an apple tart, and more.
