NEINFAME chapter kick-off event for community partners and educators

The Northeast Indiana Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (NEINFAME) and education partner Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne are inviting northeast Indiana educators and community partners to learn more about NEINFAME during a virtual meeting on Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Attendees will learn about how NEINFAME connects area students with employer partners. Sponsors provide selected students with a paid work experience working part-time while attending classes.

NEINFAME strives to be a powerful conduit between industry and education. Students selected to the program will pursue a two-year associate degree in Industrial Technology at Ivy Tech while working for a NEINFAME sponsor company. Sponsor companies include: Advanced Machine & Tool (AMT), Fort Wayne Metals, LH Industries, Micropulse, Steel Dynamics, Inc., and Zimmer Biomet.
