The Northeast Indiana Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (NEI FAME) and education partner Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne are inviting northeast Indiana educators and community partners to learn more about NEI FAME during a virtual meeting on Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. Attendees will learn about how NEI FAME connects area students with employer partners. Sponsors provide selected students with a paid work experience working part-time while attending classes.
NEI FAME strives to be a powerful conduit between industry and education. Students selected to the program will pursue a two-year associate degree in Industrial Technology at Ivy Tech while working for a NEI FAME sponsor company. Sponsor companies include: Fort Wayne Metals, LH Industries, Micropulse, Steel Dynamics, Inc., and Zimmer Biomet.
