Ivy Tech Community College’s Fort Wayne Campus will host an Apprenticeship Fair during National Apprenticeship Week for students and community members interested in learning more about apprenticeships and how to become an apprentice. The event will take place on Nov. 15 at The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the fair, all attendees can:

• Learn how apprenticeships can teach a skilled trade while earning an apprentice money
• Watch live demonstrations on skilled trades
• Meet industry representatives, and learn how to become an apprentice

There will be two special breakout sessions at the The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center in room TC1225. We will host a session with apprenticeship information for teachers, counselors and parents from10 to 10:30 a.m. and one with information for companies looking to start an apprenticeship program from 11 a.m. to noon.
