More than 2,000 DeKalb students visiting Ivy Tech Fort Wayne at “Walk Into My Future” event

WHAT:
Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne will host nearly 2,200 DeKalb county children in grades Kindergarten to 3 during the “Walk Into My Future” event, which is part of the DeKalb County Promise initiative. DeKalb students will learn about colleges and careers by interacting with members of the Ivy Tech community and engaging in educational activities. Students will visit career stations hosted by Ivy Tech students and faculty in the following areas:

  • Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering
  • Arts, Sciences and Education
  • Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain
  • Enrollment Services
  • Health Sciences
  • Information Technology
  • Nursing
  • Public Affairs and Social Services
  • Student Success
