Fort Wayne Campus to host gaming developers lecture

Brianna Wu and Casey O’Donnell will speak about game development at Ivy Tech Community College’s Fort Wayne Campus.

Wu is a game developer; the founder of Giant Spacekat, a Boston-based independent video game development studio; and the co-developer of the online game Revolution 60. She will speak about her experiences in creating a game development studio, developing games, and the gaming industry.

O’Donnell is the developer of the games Karem B’Yavneh and Sparks of Eternity and a gaming lecturer and blogger. His work has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Health.

The event, which is sponsored by the Campus’s Information Technology Club, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
