Next Level Jobs is a program that provides a financial aid opportunity for working adults in Indiana who would like to upskill. Through Next Level Jobs, working-age adults can earn a certificate at Ivy Tech Community College at no cost; Next Level Jobs funds cover tuition after funds from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid are applied.
To help those interested in participating in the Next Level Jobs program, Ivy Tech’s Fort Wayne Campus is hosting an open lab next month. The lab will be staffed by financial aid representatives to help prospective students fill out their FAFSA forms. Admissions staff will also be on-hand to answer questions.
The open lab is occurring simultaneously with an Express Enrollment Day, where prospective students can complete all the steps necessary to enroll for eight-week classes this semester.
The Next Level Jobs program is managed by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, promoting certificate programs in five sectors that align with Indiana’s economic needs:
- Advanced manufacturing
- Building and construction
- Health sciences
- Information and business technology
- Transportation and logistics
