College hosting South Side Fest on June 27

WHAT:
Ivy Tech Community College Northeast is pleased to partner with local leaders and companies to plan a full day of activities for Fort Wayne’s sixth annual South Side Fest. The goal is to bring the community together and show that the south side is the place to live, work, and play. We celebrate our young people’s athletic and creative talents while connecting community resources in a fun and family friendly environment.

WHEN:
1 to 8 p.m. June 27

DETAILS:

  • 5-on-5 basketball tournament
  • Dance competition
  • Community resource and job fair
  • Children’s activities including animals, face-painting, safety information, and more
  • Beauty expo with free haircuts
  • Musical entertainment including live, local bands and a karaoke talent competition
  • Food and merchandise vendors
