College to host free summer STEM camp for area high school teachers

WHAT:
Ivy Tech Community College Northeast’s ASM (formerly the American Society of Materials) camp is geared toward high school and middle school teachers in fields including general science, chemistry, physics, math, and technology.

The free, one-week workshop will include instruction about how to conduct low or no cost labs and experiments with everyday materials. The experiments can be incorporated into existing lesson plans.

The classes will be taught by master teachers from ASM.

WHEN:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 27 to 31
