ASAP students are encouraged to think of college as a job, and the program is ideal for those who are looking to to begin their career quickly or transfer to a four-year institution. ASAP students are five times more likely than the average Ivy Tech student to still be enrolled after 12 months.

ASAP applicants should:

  • Be referred or nominated by a high school guidance counselor
  • Have a minimum 2.5 high school GPA and strong attendance record
  • Be no older than 21 years of age
  • Have a parent or guardian agree to provide room and board

Applications are taken on a first come, first served basis, and students and their parent or guardian must complete a pledge form. Next year’s ASAP class will be the sixth at Ivy Tech Northeast, and students can earn their associate degree in business or liberal arts.
