This year, Ivy Tech Community College Northeast is extending the deadline to apply for ASAP, the Associate Accelerated Program, which allows students to complete their associate degree in one year. The deadline is May 1.

ASAP students are encouraged to think of college as a job, and the program is ideal for those who are looking to to begin their career quickly or transfer to a four-year institution. ASAP students are five times more likely than the average Ivy Tech student to still be enrolled after 12 months.
ASAP applicants should:
- Be referred or nominated by a high school guidance counselor
- Have a minimum 2.5 high school GPA and strong attendance record
- Be no older than 21 years of age
- Have a parent or guardian agree to provide room and board
Applications are taken on a first come, first served basis, and students and their parent or guardian must complete a pledge form. Next year’s ASAP class will be the sixth at Ivy Tech Northeast, and students can earn their associate degree in business or liberal arts.
