The Special Cuisines class at Ivy Tech Community College Northeast invites the community to join its students, faculty, and staff for an Indian-themed dinner between 5 and 6:30 p.m. April 9.
The six-course dinner will include salad, appetizers, an entrée, and dessert, including:
- Karcho—Georgian beef-walnut soup with fresh herbs
- Basturma with northern Iranian lemon sauce—marinated meat grilled on skewers
- Akbar mashti with sohan asali—saffron ice cream with Persian honey and saffron almond candy
To make reservations, which are required, call the Special Cuisines line at 260-480-2002. Dinners are served in the Hospitality Room on Coliseum Campus (3800 N. Anthony Blvd.) and are $20 each (now accepting credit cards in addition to cash and checks). Wine is available for an additional cost.
