All area elementary and middle school students, ages 8 to 14, are invited to participate in Ivy Tech Community College Northeast’s Adventure and Imagination Summer STEM Camp, which offers two one-week sessions. The camp offers a range of science, technology, engineering and math activities, such as exploring Allen County nature preserves, programming robots, exploring the chemistry of food, touring local technology businesses and much more.
Students 8 to 10 years old will participate in the camp scheduled for June 22–26, and students 11 to 14 years old will participate in the camp scheduled for July 20–24.
The camp cost for one week is $149. The fee covers T-shirt, lunch, snacks, supplies and field trips. Need-based scholarships are available for students on a competitive basis.
