One of these three finalists is going to receive a $3,000 scholarship to Ivy Tech Northeast—and you’re going to help decide who!
Last semester, we searched for the best student- or applicant-produced video to tell us why he or she loved Ivy Tech Northeast in Show Me the Scholarship! We looked for videos that were honest and light-hearted. We wanted to see a student having fun, someone who seemed to enjoy college, and we wanted to see a lot of creativity.
We received a dozen entries and have narrowed it down to three finalists. But now we want your help. Here are the three Show Me the Scholarship! finalists’ videos: Give them a watch, and vote for your favorite in the poll at the bottom of this post. Be sure to share this to encourage more voting!
Voting ends at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, and we’ll announce the winner on Green Light on Jan. 16.
Thanks to everyone who submitted a video, and good luck to the finalists!
Daniel, Brianna and Kama each made entertaining videos.
Best wishes to each of you.
As a 3rd place winner of the first ever You Tube Video Statewide Scholarship “Why Ivy Tech”, I know that it can be a challenge to decide what kind of video to make. To be honest, I would NEVER do it again, nor would I recommend it. The first place winner was dishonest. When looking at the percentage of comments vs. views (when comparing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place) the difference was staggering (1st place had very few comments, yet an overwhelmingly ridiculous number of views and the views were in a VERY brief time span (less than 24 hours).
I am pleased to see that this contest is different!
I chose Daniel’s because it is simple, informative and entertaining.
On further review I can see why Daniel’s video was so good. He and his sister have been shooting videos for a number of years, so he has had plenty of practice. Daniel, BTW, loved “the Window”.
