Ivy Tech Community College Northeast will host an American Society of Materials (ASM) STEM camp from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 28 to Aug. 1 at the Student Life Center on Ivy Tech Northeast’s North Campus (3701 Dean Drive). The camp is geared toward high school general science, chemistry, physics, math, and technology teachers; and middle school math and science teachers.
At this free, one-week workshop, participants will learn simple labs and experiments that use everyday materials to integrate into their lesson plans.
The program includes daily lunch and supplies, and classes will be taught by two experienced ASM master teachers. The master teachers helped develop the camp’s approach to hands-on learning of applied science principals.
