Employees, students donate to help those in need

  • Ivy Tech Northeast’s Early Childhood Education student organization, IvyAEYC (which stands for the Association for the Education of Young Children) collected more than 150 items for the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, including socks, hats, mittens, scarves, and undergarments for children. (To learn more about these efforts, contact Early Childhood Education assistant professor Mary Musson at 480-4154 or mmusson@ivytech.edu.)
  • The Ivy Tech Student Nurse Organization is collecting flip flops for men at the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, which are used for showering, as required by the facility. The group is also collecting food for the AIDS Task Force; booties for the March of Dimes; and hygiene items for Charis House.
