Early Childhood Education Center welcoming children from community

Ivy Tech Community College Northeast’s Early Childhood Education Center, which kicked off this semester, is currently accepting children aged 3 to 5 into its program, which is a mixture of preschool and daycare.

The center provides hands-on education to Ivy Tech Northeast’s Early Childhood Education majors, allowing them to work in the classroom with children. Ivy Tech staff is on hand, as well, to provide guidance to both the children and the students, who are in their last semester of classes.

The program is for 9 a.m. to noon on the following days:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • Mondays to Thursdays

There is also optional before-hours care from 8 to 9 a.m. and/or after-hours care from  noon to 1 p.m. The semester-long program begins Jan. 13. Tuition can range from $105 to $210 a month, depending upon the option you choose.
