Annual Electronic Recycling Day

Items accepted include computers; CD, VCR and DVD players; household appliances (e.g., microwaves, refrigerators, ovens, air conditioners); lawn tools (lawn mowers, weed trimmers, yard tools); mattresses ($5 each); computer monitors ($5 each); televisions

Children will be able to go in and out of the driver’s cab of smart cars, hybrid cars, limousines, construction equipment, fire trucks, emergency vehicles and more. This is a free, family event sponsored by the Ivy Tech–Northeast Department of Early Childhood Education.

Great American Cleanup–Fort Wayne
9–11 a.m.
Volunteers should sign-up via email by providing their name, email address and T-shirt size. An email will be sent to volunteers once the Ivy Tech–Northeast team is provided its clean-up destination from City of Fort Wayne officials. To celebrate the hard work, a post–cleanup party featuring food, drinks, raffle prizes and music will be at Headwaters Park West from 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
