The Early Childhood Education group at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast, (IvyAEYC), is hosting several events during April to celebrate the Month of the Young Child. These events are being sponsored by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

April 13−22
Marianne Musick Memorial Children’s Art Exhibit– This is the third annual community children’s art exhibit. Begin now to save children’s artwork. To register, contact Mary Musson, mmusson@ivytech.edu.

Labrynth– Students can walk the labrynth and contemplate being young again.

April 17, 18 and 19
Ivy Garden Experience– Children from local sites will travel by bus to see the children’s art exhibit and experience a creative learning experience with Ivy Tech students.

Times: April 17 and 19: 9:45 to 11:45 a.m., April 18: 1:15 to 3:00 p.m.
April 21
Touch-A-Truck– Children will be able to go in and out of the driver’s cab of smart cars, limousine cars, trucks, fire trucks and more. This is a free event.
Location: Ivy Tech Coliseum Campus east parking lot (3800 N Anthony Blvd.)
Time: 10 a.m. to noon
