Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne invites community members to a free health screening event on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2026, offering blood pressure checks and a 12-lead EKG at no cost. The event is presented by Ivy Tech’s Health Sciences faculty and students and will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room CC1662B on the Coliseum Campus (3800 N Anthony Blvd.).
Community members who participate will receive a 12-lead EKG completed by students nearing completion of Ivy Tech’s EKG Technical Certificate. Participants will be able to take their EKG results to their doctor for review and interpretation. Blood pressure checks will also be provided.
“This is a valuable, hands-on learning opportunity for our students as they build confidence working with patients before beginning clinical experiences,” said Janelle Gresla, Health Sciences Program Chair at Ivy Tech Fort Wayne & Kosciusko County. “At the same time, we’re proud to offer a helpful service to our community at no cost.”
Appointments are encouraged. To schedule an appointment, contact Janelle Gresla at 260-480-2092 or jgresla@ivytech.edu.
