Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast is pleased to announce the 2012 recipients of the Chancellor’s Scholarship, the Choice Scholarship and the Craftsman Tool Grant.

Chancellor’s Scholarship

Ivy Tech Chancellor’s Scholarship recipients will receive $6,000 ($3,000 per academic year) toward college tuition and fees should they choose Ivy Tech. Students are chosen by the scholarship committee based upon high academic achievement, community or school involvement, and intention to earn an associate degree at Ivy Tech–Northeast. By meeting academic standards at Ivy Tech, both students will be able to renew the scholarship monies for a second year.

Choice Scholarship

Ivy Tech Choice Scholarship recipients will receive $1,000 toward college tuition and fees should they choose Ivy Tech. Recipients were chosen by the scholarship committee based upon academic achievement, community or high school involvement, and a personal written statement.

Craftsman Tool Grant

The Collision Repair Education Foundation awards the Craftsman Tool Grant, which offers the recipient a Craftsman 268 piece Mechanic Tool Set with  Lift-Top Lid Case, Craftsman mechanics gloves and a ten drawer heavy duty tool chest. In order to be eligible for the grant, applicants must be a student of collision repair and must demonstrate financial need. Craftsman Tool Grants are awarded to a total of 17 students nationwide.
