Karen Jones has been named ASA math department chair at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. In this role, Jones will manage the ASA math department and teach classes. She reports to Karen Reilly, dean of ASA and support programs. Previously, Jones served as math faculty at Ivy Tech. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in math and French from Indiana University and a Master of Science in math from IPFW.

David Jones has been named full-time instructor in automotive technology at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. He reports to Robert Huffman, program chair of automotive technology. Previously, Jones was an adjunct instructor at Ivy Tech and a machinist with American Axle Manufacturing. He earned a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership from Indiana Tech.

Jack Caster has been named assistant professor of mathematics at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. He reports to Abdalla Hazaimeh, program chair of math and physical sciences. Previously, Caster was an adjunct instructor for Ivy Tech. He earned a bachelor’s degree in teaching of mathematics from Ball State University and a master’s degree in teaching from IPFW.

Clarre Burkhardt has been named full-time instructor in liberal arts and sciences at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. She reports to Abdalla Hazaimeh, program chair of math and physical sciences. Previously, Burkhardt was an adjunct instructor at Ivy Tech. She earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Science in applied mathematics from the University of Dayton.

Erin Salyers has been named full-time instructor in design technology at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. She reports to Rob Townsend, program chair of design technology. Previously, Salyers was an adjunct instructor at Ivy Tech. She earned a Bachelor of Science in computer graphics technology from Purdue University.

Charlene Lommatzsch has been named administrative assistant in disability support services at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. She reports to Todd Nichols, director of disability support services. Previously, Lommatzsch was a nurturer at One Eleven Design. She earned an Associate of Science from IPFW.
