Andy Bell has been named Program Chair of Engineering Technology at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. In this role, he will be responsible for the development of the new Engineering Technology program. The Engineering Technology program offers an Associate of Science in Engineering Technology degree. This program is offered at eight different campus locations around the state. Bell reports to John Walter, dean of the schools of Technology and Applied Science and Engineering. Previously, he worked at ITT GS where he designed, analyzed, and tested many defense and space products to include weather satellites and U.S. Army radios. Bell earned a Master of Science in Engineering from Polytechnic Institute in New York and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Gary Hall has been named Industrial and Manufacturing Trainer at Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast. In this role, Hall will be responsible for identifying, developing and delivering relevant, desired training for industrial maintenance, manufacturing, and related subjects. This includes the development, organization and general maintenance of the assigned instructional labs and classrooms. He will also assist project consultants with developing relevant training solutions for clients. He reports to Patrick Buesching, director of Ivy Tech Corporate College. Previously, Hall worked as an electrician/technician for Phelps Dodge, KUS (Zollner) and Weaver Popcorn. Hall earned an associate’s degree in Electronics and a Master Electrician license in Allen County.
