Ivy Tech Community College−Northeast will host United States Muscle Car Cruz-In from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sep. 10 at the Ivy Tech Steel Dynamics Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center (4900 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, Ind.) This show is free and open to the public.

USMC Cruz-In brings you the ultimate car lover’s show, featuring tricked out cars, trucks and motorcycles. This annual car show is a fundraiser for Semper Fi Fund and Northeast Indiana Marine Family Support Group (NIMF Support Group). This year’s beneficiary is local hero LCpl Brandon Long, who will receive the money from registration fees.

“Americans have no idea how the lives of those serving have changed. We only hear about the numbers of dead and wounded,” said Jeff Smith, director of United States Muscle Car. “This event is raising money for Semper Fi Fund and Northeastern Indiana Marine Family Support to help these men and women.”

Bring the whole family to this free, fun-filled event. There will be live music, food, and drinks. The pre-registration fee is $20 per car, truck or motorcycle. Lineup is from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Highlights of the event include:

  • 50/50 cash raffle
  • Raffle for a custom USMC foot locker
  • Food provided by Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill
  • Event T-shirts for sale
  • Local and state police and fire vehicles on display
  • United States Marines support vehicles, etc.
  • The area’s hottest cars, bikes and trucks
