The Special Cuisines class at Ivy Tech Community College–Northeast invites the community to join its students, faculty, and staff for an à la carte German Specials Dinner on Thursday, March 31. Student chef Henry Sierk chose the German theme to honor his own heritage and many other Fort Wayne citizens.
“Fort Wayne has a strong German heritage, and this dinner will give them the feeling of actually being in Germany,” said Sierk. “It will be a true cultural experience.”
Community members can expect a rare opportunity to sample traditional Garman fare while supporting students, as they showcase their exceptional culinary talents. Guests will be able to sample from the following menu:

Beirocks Beef and Cabbage Turnover – Beer Beef and Cabbage Turnover

Kartoffel Salat – German Potato Salad
