Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast is now offering Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification preparation for Professional Human Resources (PHR). Programs are certified by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).  The class meets Saturdays beginning October 16 through December 18 (no class on November 26) from 8 a.m. to Noon. The cost is $949 and includes materials.

The curriculum, designed by subject matter experts, covers the HR Certification Institute Body of Knowledge and includes application exercises that develop specific competencies and decision-making skills.  This certification preparation course offers a structured learning environment in which an experienced instructor presents the material in an easy to understand format and leads lively classroom discussions.
