More than $6,000 in donations and sponsorships has already been collected for Ivy Tech’s Thunder Run at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino this Saturday, September 11. The third annual student scholarship ride has already surpassed previous years’ fundraising efforts. The event is a ride including vehicles of all kinds, from all over the state of Indiana, in a caravan to Hoosier Park Racing and Casino in Anderson, Indiana.

It is not too late for individuals to register and take part in the fun while also supporting higher education student scholarships at Ivy Tech Community College. Registrations will be taken online through Thursday, Sept. 9, and will also be taken in person Saturday at the following locations:

• Fort Wayne’s Coliseum Campus (3800 N. Anthony Blvd.) beginning at 8:30 a.m.
• Kokomo’s campus (1815 E. Morgan St., Kokomo, IN 46901) beginning at 8:30 a.m.
• Hoosier Park Racing and Casino (4500 Dan Patch Circle, Anderson, IN 46013) beginning at Noon

Everyone is welcome! For just a $10 contribution per person to the Ivy Tech Foundation, participants receive a $15 food voucher and a $15 casino voucher from Hoosier Park Racing and Casino (must have arm band to participate; must be 21 or older to enter the casino).
