Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast and Everblue Training Institute will be offering LEED® Green Associate Exam Preparation courses. Students can choose between the October course offered Oct. 18-19 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. or the December course offered Dec 2-3 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Both classes will be held at Carroll Hall on Ivy Tech’s North Campus off of St. Joe Center Rd. The cost is $595.
This two-day course supplements individual preparation for anyone interested in passing the LEED® Green Associate Exam. After an introduction to the exam format and computer based testing, the instructor will give an overview of how the LEED® rating systems work. Next, the group will examine the core concepts of green building as they relate to each of the rating systems. Finally, the instructor will explain what should be studied after leaving this class to increase the chance of passing the LEED® Green Associate Certification Exam. Sample questions and memorization worksheets will be presented and discussed throughout the course. There are no prerequisites for this course.
