Ivy Tech Community College–Northeast recently appointed two new deans to the Schools of Business and Nursing beginning this 2010–11 academic year.

Jewel Diller has been appointed the Dean of the School of Nursing. Prior to this new position, Diller was serving as the Department Chair of Nursing, overseeing both the LPN and ASN programs. She has been with Ivy Tech for 21 years and is a member of the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana as well as the National League of Nursing. Diller obtained a diploma in nursing from Lutheran Hospital of Nursing, a B.S. in Missionary Nursing from Fort Wayne Bible College, an M.S. in Secondary Education from Indiana University (IPFW), a Public Personnel Management Certification from Indiana University (IPFW), and an M.S. in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Concordia University (Wisc.).

Andrea Robinson Hinsey has been appointed the Dean of the School of Business. Prior to this new position, Robinson Hinsey was serving as the Department Chair of Business with oversight of the office administration, business administration, and accounting programs. She has been with Ivy Tech for 12 years and is a member of the Northeast School of Business Deans Committee and was the founding member of the Northeast Indiana Colleges Art Consortium. Robinson Hinsey is working on her doctoral studies through Ball State’s Adult Higher and Community Education program and has obtained an MBA in Management from Indiana Tech, a B.S. in Technical Graphics from Purdue University, and an A.A.S. in Technical Graphics from Purdue University.
