Ivy Tech Community College is hosting its third annual student scholarship ride on Saturday, September 11, 2010. The event is a ride including vehicles of all kinds, from all over the state of Indiana, in a caravan to Hoosier Park Racing and Casino in Anderson, Indiana. Thunder Run encourages participants to ride from all Ivy Tech regions meeting up for a common cause – to raise money for student scholarships through the Ivy Tech Foundation.

Everyone is welcome! Bring your friends and family. You do not need to be an Ivy Tech student or employee to participate. For just a $10 contribution per person to the Foundation, participants receive a $15 food voucher and a $15 casino voucher from Hoosier Park Racing and Casino (must have arm band to participate; must be 21 or older to enter the casino or receive food and casino vouchers).

Participating regions across the state will have various staging and departure times, depending on distance. Arrival at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino for everyone is scheduled at Noon.
