Norman Newman has been appointed Director of Financial Aid at Ivy Tech Community College–Northeast. In his new position, Newman will be responsible for managing, financial aid processing, and customer service in the Financial Aid office at the Northeast region. Newman reports to the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.

Newman has been serving as assistant director of financial aid/veterans affairs since 2009. He has post-secondary experience as a math instructor at IPFW, has served as an educational counselor at the Educational Opportunity Center, and was assistant coordinator for the Twenty-first Century Scholars program in the Fort Wayne area. Newman served as assistant director of financial aid at IPFW for six years prior to coming to Ivy Tech–Northeast. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University Bloomington.
