BACKGROUND:
International Education Week, from Nov. 13 to 17, is a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State, meant “to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide … Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences,” according to the U.S. Department of State website.

Locally, Ivy Tech Community College’s Fort Wayne Campus is celebrating International Education Week with a schedule of events from Nov. 13 to 16.
LOCATION:
Events are located in the Coliseum Campus (3800 N. Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne) or the Student Life Center (3701 Dean Drive, Fort Wayne).
